For persons cleared into Thailand as a passenger, there are two methods to extend your visa. If you enter with a 30 day tourist visa on arrival you can receive a 7 day extension. This is the maximum you can receive.

The second method is to arrive with a 60 day tourist visa from a Thai embassy/ consul. Once this is close to expiry you can receive a 30 day extension. This is the maximum you can receive.
